Drop Zone

Abby and Kayla and I went yesterday to watch Sam .  It was supposed to be his last jump before he deploys.  But, because of winds the jump was cancelled.  Which was actually a good thing- my camera batteries died.

Notice the West Virginia Air Guard!-

Hi Everyone:

Thanks for sharing the pictures with us. People don't realize what our troops have to endure even before deployment. The attire looks so uncomfortable and heavy. Most of us shutter at the mere thought of having to be weighted down with the attire for even a short time. I wouldn't want to even try the outfit on as it looks so heavy. Our troops deserve more recognition. They have been doing a fine job with all they have to endure and still keep their proud chins high for all of us.

Sam and I disagree about a lot of things, but I am proud of the man he has turned out to be. I love him and pray for his safety and well being.

Lorie you deserve a lot of credit for being there for Sam. I know that he can be very trying at times. You hold down the fort while he is away. That is a big job when you have children that depend on you being Mom and Dad while he is gone. Keep the pictures going as they are a wonderful way of keeping in touch.

Tell the children that we enjoy all of their pictures.

We love you all and hope to see you soon.

Love,

Mom, Emory, Dad and Josh
