We finally had Shay's party tonight.......as you can see from the picture......the girls thought it would be funny to smash cake in his face........(the blue face was compliments of Haley!)
They also had a noodle fight!

I kept 13, so goodness knows how many babies there will be next time....
As we remember all of the victims of 9/11 on this day, let us not forget those who are struggling to rebuild their lives after Hurricane Katrina.
I have seen such generous giving of friends and neighbors......
A friend of mine, despite her wariness of needles, gave blood. And her wonderful children (Haley, Bry, and Jacob) used all of their allowance to buy a bike for a little girl who is living here after losing everything in New Orleans.
But......also beware that you don't get caught in the many so-called charities, who are using this time to make a profit.......donate through LDS Humanitarian Aid, the American Red Cross or other respected organizations in your communities.
And then take a moment to thank our Heavenly Father for the blessings that he has so richly bestowed upon each and every one of us!
