Going, Going, GONE........

The first day of School!  The summer kinda lingered on this year......I think because Sam was gone so much and the little ones were absolutely bored..

I spent my very quiet day, relaxing in our pool and eating bon-bons, while the maid cleaned the entire estate................

Oh, wait a minute..........that wasn't me......I live in military housing- I don't have a pool or a maid-  I remember what really happened now----I threw in 4 loads of laundry, ran some errands, and signed a bazillion school forms........but, I did get to go to lunch with my great friend, Amy.  And.....we even went to a "big people" restaurant and they didn't have ketchup packets!

The pictures #1-The boys in uniform (Alexander, Andrew and Shay)- #2- Kayla leaving home (can you believe she is a SENIOR...her last first day of school)...#3- Jacob (he picked out all of his school clothes this year, he didn't want any help from me)..#4- Melissa getting on the bus!

And yes......I followed them all to the bus stop with my camera and no, they were not happy about it!

Abby fixed her own hair for church- even though I assured her that it was beautiful, she couldn't wear it to church- (her reaction...see picture)

ONLY 5 MORE DAYS UNTIL SCHOOL STARTS- BUT WHO'S COUNTING?????

I found it!

As some of you know I've been looking for an old chair/desk forever, BUT one that was in pretty ok condition. I'd thought about swiping the one from the Almor West front foyer, but since that is completely wrong it really wasn't a workable option.....

So........

Well, as we were coming back from the Temple today.........guess what?

I found one! $25.00!
